Lucinda Bruce-GardyneProfessionally trained chef, Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne, founded Genius in 2009 with her first ever gluten-free loaf, after failing to find good quality gluten-free and wheat-free bread suitable for her gluten intolerant son.
Since the first listing of Genius bread in Tesco, Lucinda has overseen the creation of the UK’s leading bakery brand within the Free-From category, revolutionising the industry. Genius products are now listed across the globe in France, The Netherlands, Germany and Australia.
Lucinda sits on the Board at Genius as a Product Director and spends a great deal of time in the company’s bakery, developing pioneering new products. She is also committed to supporting and encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs and wealth creators, acting as brand ambassador for the company, speaking at seminars, universities and business events.
Lucinda has won numerous awards including the Ernst & Young UK Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Private Businesswoman of the Year category in the Price Waterhouse Coopers Private Business Awards.
