Healthy Bacon Sandwich with a Cheesy Avocado Twist
A healthy, low fat, nutritious, gluten-free, tasty sandwich perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch or any other time of the day. Creator: Mrs Julie Burrows
Ingredients
- 2 slices of Genius bread
- 2 teaspoons of low fat cream cheese
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 slices of lean bacon, char grilled
Method
- Take 2 slices of Genius bread
- Spread both slices generously with low fat cream cheese (no butter or margarine required)
- On one of the slice place slices of freshly cut avocado on top of the cheese
- Place on top of the avocado 2 slices of lean char grilled bacon
- Place 2 slices of lean bacon in a grill pan and cook on the hob on a medium heat for 5 minutes, turning once.
- Place the cooked bacon on top of the avocado filing
- Put remaining slice of bread on top
- Cut sandwich, sandwich now ready to eat.
