What happened to the Genius rolls which have been advertised? I have not seen them anywhere. Are the new M&S bread and rolls made by Genius? They are much nicer - thought it may be your new improved recipe.

I'm thinknig of starting a campaign to get genuis bread on prescription, I had a letter from my GP to the chemist, but they said NO, as did the People who allow this or not. I have bread on priscription which is like cardbourd, & it cost twice as much. Why can people who do not have to eat cardbourd make us have no choice?

Large Asda store right near me sells Genius. I just don't for how long as they have it hidden on the lowest shelf in the bread aisle. As I always head straight to their minuscule specialist section, I would expect the bread to be there. Or perhaps even a sign, directing me to the bread aisle. I feel they are not promoting it well to customers and am disappointed I could have been buying so much easily.

love genius bread but very disapointed with sainsbury's who after reducing it for a couple of weeks are now charging £2.96 per sliced loaf. I think maybe their cashing in on it's popularity.

I first came across your delicious bread last year while on holiday in Dorset. The B&B served it there and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy a cooked breakfast with fantastic toast after years... I live in Germany and certainly would be happy to buy Genius bread over here.

Your Genius bread is brilliant but still can not get it on prescription either - Supermarkets have a very low stock and expensive as well - especially Sainsbury's

I run The Brook Inn @washbrook where we have use genius bread on all the time, coeliacs can enjoy any sandwich of their choice!

Hi. I agree with the comment about Sainsbury pricing. This would appear to be about commercial pricing policy--gouge the customer as much as possible.The guff about being a "caring" store is just that--Guff.

Totally agree that Genius Bread should be available on Prescription. (if rubbish like sweet biscuits can get onto the list, then why can't something healthy and tasty make it on?)

Have spotted Green Mould on Genius White, several times in a local Tesco. All outside ONLY ONE DAY of expiry date. One Day - can we trust it to keep safe when we buy it when it may only have 2 days left?

Morrison's were selling their Genius at £1.98 unsliced. I think we should start a campaign to get the supermarkets to reduce the price.

Genius bread is the best gluten free loaf that I have tasted and it would be great if it was available on prescription. The Tuna sandwich made with Genius that Starbucks sell is really good and it is so nice to be able to have something at lunchtime that is not just salad or baked potato!

We are so restricted with what we can eat and we have to pay over the top prices for anything good! Genius Bread has to go on prescription!!We must campagne for this.

Yes, I agree totally with Polly. I'm so desparate for a decent slice of fresh bread.Where can we all campaign to get Genius from the dr.? How about a petition? I'm sick of being begrudged my monthly order of cardboard at the chemist-let them eat it for a week - they'll soon understand that there is nothing to be jelous about! Lets stand up and be counted!

Perhaps C Robinson who can get Genius in the north of England could advise the secret to getting Genius bread on prescription - my 15 yr old giant son gets through many loaves in 1 week and money spent on bread could go towards new school trousers required every other week!

Genius sliced bread should be in supermarkets for no more than £1.99, I stock up when it's on offer but buy alternatives when it is full price, especially Sainsburys.

Seen a few comments about the cost of Genius in Sainsburys. Remember, it is a larger size than that stocked in Tesco (600g rather than 400g) so is actually better value (or at least it is where I live). Shame the offer has finished though. :-(

Genius available on prescription here, well at my GP surgery in Bideford anyway. I printed off the info from Genius website and took it in. If I run out and go to Sainsburys they never put enough Genius bread out and I always have to ask for it and the last white sliced I had only had 2 days left on the sell by date. So it had obviously been sitting in the storeroom for a few days un-noticed. There always seem to be brown loaves left. Personally I find these too sweet/malty, tasting more like a fruit loaf which is bit of a strange match with something like, say, tuna. Like the other writers I find the price of all manufactured gf food extortionate.

I was advised by a "Genius" lady at the Coeliac Food fayre in York in May that the Genius sliced loaves in Sainsburys are more expensive because they are a bigger loaf...TRUE.I have bought 2 of these, but have gone back to the originals from Tesco because both the sliced ones i bought were a complete mess of crumble bread that were not fit to do anything with, a rather expensive disappointment, not one complete slice, so something appears to go wrong in the slicing process. Having had my moan, it is still the best gluten free bread i have tasted.

i alsayws hated ther cardboard prescirption bread and chnaged to getting bread mix whixh i was able to adapt to make bread that was at leats eatable but genius have taken bread to another level and put mine to shame
we are paying £2.96 a loaf here this week - if we all ogt together then maybe we could get the price lower. we should be able to get it on prescription but dont know how - if i went to buy my bread mix not on prescription each box is £7.95 - so genius must be a saving to the NHS

My wife is a ceoliac she uses the sliced for sandwhiches and the unsliced for toast We cut up the unsliced in advance then freeze it back in the wrapper and just take out the slices we need for toast it works well so we dont wate any. I think we should start a petition to the ministry of health to get Genius onto the prescription list any takers to assist in starting a major petition.

With regards to Genius bread on prescription - we recently resubmitted an application to the ACBS (Advisory Committee for Borderline Substances) addressing all the issues that led to our last submission being declined. Unfortunately we have received a letter from the ACBS to inform us that our recent application was not approved. Despite our price being within the accepted range, due to the current financial climate and the constraints being placed on the NHS they were unable to approve Genius bread.

I pestered my dr. for months, until he eventually gave in and allowed us to get Genius bread on prescription for our 14 year old son. I did it online and told the dr that he would have to hand write the prescription and gave him the telephone number for the chemist to ring to order it.

i sometimes buy my genius bread from tesco and a couple of months ago mine was out of date and mouldy so a week later went to get some more and checked it in store it was out of date the new bread was on top shelf in a box looks like they are trying to sell all old bread before getting new out which didn,t have many days left so everyone please check before you buy it,its too expensive to waste......

I recently had a gnius gf sandwich at starbucks in Glasgow,my only complaint is tuna is the one and only choice.I wish more cafes etc would do genius sandwiches
