Over 500 people from across the country attended the charity’s main annual event in Derby. Many people chatted with Lucinda and tried Genius bread for the first time, including lots of newly diagnosed Coeliacs.

Every year at the AGM, the Coeliac UK Awards are presented to recognise the hard work, commitment and achievement of its members and those in the health care and food industry who seek to make the lives better of those with Coeliac Disease and DH.

Genius bread was given the award for Most Innovative Product of the Year as nominated by Coeilac UK’s members and judged by a panel at Coeliac UK. Founder of Genius, Lucinda, and the Genius Team were absolutely delighted with the win. We had no idea that Genius had been put forward for this award by Coeliac UK members and it’s great to know that it is satisfying the need for an alternative to ordinary wheat bread for the people that need it most.
