Today I visited Starbucks in Braehead Glasgow and was delighted to have their Roast Chicken & Pesto Gluten Free Sandwich made with Genius Bread.
What a great delight to have a sandwich without having to prepare ahead and to enjoy the excellent Genius Bread
Keep up the good work
Kind Regards

I tried one of the new Genius chicken sandwiches at our local Starbucks on Saturday and I can't tell how good it tasted! Really nice to be able to go out and buy a pre-packed sandwich like everyone else. Well done Genius.

How do we know which Starbucks have the genius sandwiches? Everytime I stop in to any Starbucks and ask about them, they say they don't have any, and don't know what I'm referring to.

Shame there is ever only one choice as many coeliacs are vegetarian and many eat fish and not meat - I emailed Starbucks (without response) to suggest that a choice of two would be appreciated - meat or fish and a vegetarian option.

At last, us wheat free's are being catered for! Well done guys, great team work. I will only ever use Starbucks now. They also do a nice chocolate brownie that's wheat free, so yummy!

Name and shame some Starbuck's the Oxford services on the M40 have not had GFon 3 occasions recently and the concession coffee shop in Cheltenham has not had either. The manager's in both don't seem to be bothered.

Great. Another thing I can't eat. WHY does mayonnaise have to go on EVERYTHING? what is wrong with just pesto? It's really hard getting gf things to eat at lunchtime and actually impossible if you're allergic to mayonnaise too in my experience. Boo.

Yes, I agree with my daughter being vegetarian.

I had the Chicken Pesto sandwich from Starbucks at Heathrow airport before a flight... It tasted amazing! It is soo nice to be able to just pick up something that tastes good and know I'm not going to be ill during a long flight. I only wished that when I was on my trip to New York, that you had supplied the Starbucks out there with Genius Bread!!!

The sandwichs sound great, but what happens if you can't eat dairy.
The mayonnaise and pesto are a no no !

Fantastic Genuis making gluten/wheat free sandwiches for Starbucks. Cheese was always the best as lots of coeliacs are vegatarian. Please do two types Genuis!!!!!!

When will Genius bread be coming to the United States? Or is it already here somewhere? I'd like to be able to buy it. :)

I agree... would be great if the sandwich were also Dairy Free as a lot of people (including myself) are not only gluten intolerant, but dairy intolerant too.

I have tried all of the sandwiches brought out with Starbucks so far and they have been superb! BUT I am not sure if this one is suitable for me, because I am allergic to nuts and it contains pesto (often made using pine nuts). The ingredients on the package don't seem to suggest there are any nuts in it, but I wonder if you could let me know on that Genius? Keep up the great work and thanks! N x

Hi Nuala,
We advise that if you have any questions regarding the Starbucks sandwich filling, to contact Starbucks Customer Care directly on (020) 8834-5050 or send an email to ukinfo@starbucks.com as they will be able to advise further on the allergyn advice.

I agree with others who've mentioned lack of veggie sandwich option.
Last year, when Starbucks first launched Genius GF sandwiches and included a veggie sandwich , I visited several Starbucks across East Anglia as I travel across this area a lot. I never once saw a gf sandwich, let alone the veggie cheese option - and Starbucks staff were just not aware etc.
Hopefully we can put pressure on Starbucks to keep stocking gf products by e:mailing them when the shop you visit doesn't have them. Best Wishes!

Veggie option PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody thought of selling the gluten free sandwiches at Motorway Services (or even the Starbucks on m/ways - they don't stock them either!) - I travel the length of M4 three times a week and can never find anything to eat!
